HONORING DR. BOBBY G. JORDAN
As an educator, Dr. Jordan always believed in ensuring that students were provided a pathway to educational opportunities. His commitment to music transcended across many generations and his passion influenced his students to explore their talents, perfect their techniques and open collegiate doors all in the name and love of music. As we honor Dr. Jordan, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to establish the Dr. Bobby G Jordan Book Scholarship. This fund will award scholarships to two students through a process established by the family. One book scholarship will be awarded to a Booker T. Washington High School band student and one scholarship will go to an Atlanta Public Schools student attending FAMU to play in the band.
